Motorised curtains use a powered curtain track and motor to open or close the curtains automatically.

Instead of moving the curtains by hand, users can operate compatible systems through controls such as a remote, wall switch, mobile application or smart-home platform.

Motorisation is particularly useful for larger windows, full-height glazing and homes where convenience and automation are important.

Motorised Curtain Track

The track is selected according to the width of the opening, curtain weight and installation requirements.

Convenient Hands-Free Operation

Motorised curtains can be opened or closed without manually pulling the curtain.

This is useful for everyday operation and for windows that are difficult to reach.

Reduced Manual Handling of Curtains

Frequent pulling and uneven handling can place additional stress on curtain fabric and tracks.

Motorised operation reduces the need to repeatedly handle the curtains directly.

Control Multiple Curtains Together

Compatible systems may allow several curtain tracks to be controlled together.

This can be useful in larger living rooms, bedrooms or open-plan spaces with multiple windows.

Useful for Large and Hard-to-Reach Windows

Full-height windows and wider curtain panels can require more effort to operate manually.

Motorisation makes it easier to move larger curtains consistently.

Family-Friendly Operation

Motorised curtain systems can reduce the need for manual operating cords used by some window coverings.

This can create a cleaner and more convenient setup in homes with children or pets.
